The Oconee Baptist Church of Bishop, Georgia was organized in October, 1999 as a missionary church of Concord Missionary Baptist Church of Calhoun, Georgia.  Although we are blessed with a bright new church facility in which to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, we are an old fashioned, Independent Baptist Church, who believe in old time shouting, praise and singing to bring Honor and Glory to God, and refreshment to the Saints. 

Here at Oconee Baptist Church, you will find a friendly atmosphere, a strong mission emphasis, and preaching from the King James Version of the Bible. Whether you live in the neighborhood or just passing through, we invite you to visit our church.
